Most codes you see for Roblox games are created by each game’s developers and only work inside that game. They give in-game items, boosts or currency, never Robux.
Where to enter a code
- Join the game the code belongs to.
- Look for a Codes button, often in the menu, settings or shop. Some games use a Twitter/X or gift icon.
- Type or paste the code exactly and confirm.
Each game page on GameVault explains where its codes go when we have confirmed it.
Game codes vs Roblox promo codes
- Game codes are redeemed inside a specific game.
- Roblox promo codes are official Roblox codes for avatar items, redeemed at roblox.com/promocodes while logged in.
A game code entered on the Roblox promo page will not work, and the reverse is also true.
Why a code does not work
- It has expired. Developers often remove codes after an update.
- It is case-sensitive and was typed with different capitals.
- It has a level or time requirement.
- It was never real. Many sites copy lists without checking.
On GameVault, every code shows a status:
- Active: confirmed working from an official source on the date shown.
- Unverified: listed by another site we cite, but not yet confirmed by us. Try it, but expect it may have expired.
- Expired: confirmed no longer working.
Avoid scams
- No legitimate code or website gives free Robux. “Robux generators” are scams.
- Never enter your Roblox password anywhere except roblox.com or the official app.
- Ignore DMs and comments offering codes in exchange for account details.
